Samuel Beck House : ウィキペディア英語版 | Samuel Beck House
The Samuel Beck House is a historic house on The Hill, a cluster of historic houses southwest of the junction of Deer and High Streets, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This 2-1/2 story wood frame house was probably built not long after 1761, when Samuel Beck bought the lot on Deer Street where this house originally stood. The house is five bays wide and two deep, with a large central chimney; it retains a narrow colonial-era stairway, and has an early Federal-period front door surround. The house was moved to its present location (along with several others) as part of a project to widen Deer Street.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=NRHP nomination for Samuel Beck House )〕 The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.〔 ==See also==
